With 992 islands, is a short 3-hour flight from Brisbane, without doubt, one of the last frontiers for adventure cruising, fishing and surfing.

The MV Alfred Wallace is designed & built with the long-range expedition in mind to take you to untouched pristine remote adventures safely and in comfort.

Our flexible itineraries are designed to maximise your adventure, whether cruising, fishing or surfing adventures. Our experienced local guides will put you in the best spots any day.

The traditional owners of the Solomon Islands are the indigenous Melanesian people who have inhabited the islands for thousands of years. They are comprised of numerous distinct ethnic groups, each with its own language, culture, and customary land ownership.

It's important to note that within each ethnic group, subgroups and clans often have specific connections to particular areas of land or islands. For example, the traditional land tenure system in the Solomon Islands is based on customary ownership and ancestral ties, where land is typically owned collectively by clans or communities.

River Fishing

The river systems are like a scene from Jurassic Park, with the prehistoric palms hanging over the water, covering these angry primitive fish. Spot Tail Bass, Black Bass, Monster Mangrove Jack & Barramundi.
